Puppy Bowl 2013: Breaking Down Contenders for Most Valuable Pup

Here we are, headed into Puppy Bowl IX, the grand daddy of them all for puppy dogs.
This year, a number of hungry puppy dogs will challenge Puppy Dog Hall of Famers for the Most Valuable Puppy award, but it won't be easy.
Not only is the competition fierce (don't let their puppy dog eyes fool you), there will also be a litany of distractions, ranging from a puppy hot tub to a blimp full of hamsters, according to the Associated Press, via the San Francisco Chronicle.
Of course, those hedgehog referees seem to always stir up controversy. 
So, without further ado, here's a look at six notable puppy dog challengers this year. The Puppy Bowl airs on Animal Planet from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. in all time zones on Super Bowl Sunday and will keep repeating until 3 a.m. on Monday.
