Rams DE Chris Long Plays Powerball, Fulfills Dream of Being on Local News

St. Louis Rams defensive end Chris Long finds himself on television every fall/winter when he and his team take the field, but on Wednesday night, he made a different kind of TV appearance.
And it was everything he had always dreamed of.
Like many in the United States, Long decided to test his luck and buy Powerball tickets in Virginia for his own slim chance of winning $1.5 billion. Actually, "Long" wasn't the one playing Powerball; it was "Rod Carriker."
That disguise didn't fool the news crew, however. Regardless of what his name was, he got the awesome title of "hopeful Powerball player."
It sounds like the 30-year-old had quite the plan. More importantly, according to Long, it was a smart one:
Unfortunately for him, the winning ticket was sold in California, not Virginia. Had he won, there's a good chance he would have been on the local news once again, with an even better title.
