News that the Minnesota Vikings have waived wide receiver Randy Moss has spread like wildfire, with most expressing shock and disbelief over how quickly it happened. But while Moss didn't exactly help his cause with his comments about Minnesota, would the Bears overlook that and sign him?
Look, with the Packers now in first place in the division and the Bears having lost consecutive games, a move like this might be a last-ditch attempt at salvaging a fading season.
Or, it might fail and subject the team to all kinds of turmoil. But what the heck, desperate times call for desperate measures.
Moss was critical of the Vikings following a game against his old employer, the New England Patriots, on Sunday when he caught only one pass for eight yards.
