Ranking the Most Impressive Preseason Performers so Far

Week 3 of the preseason is in the books, meaning we won't have a good, clean read on what a team will look like at the top end of its roster until the regular season starts. The final week of the preseason is typically used to sort out the bottom of a 53-man roster, which often leads to inactive starters in Week 4.
With three weeks of samples, though they may only be a quarter long, we have been able to study first- and second-string players who look to make an impact on their respective franchises in 2016. Among them are seven who stand out above the rest.
Most are rookies, as their arrivals to the league can go over very well or poor, as will their careers, while veterans are mostly what we assume them to be on a year-to-year basis. This includes skill players, a defender and even a special team ace.
