Demons have been no match for Brett Favre in his near 20 year career. Like the gray gladiator that the old timer truly is, Brett Favre has managed to topple some of the biggest milestones in some of the toughest situations, without hesitation.
To call Brett Favre a national hero, may perhaps be a little hasty. After all, we all know how frustrating Favre's Wrangler Jeans commercials can be from time to time. But to call number 4 the all time greatest employee, may be an understatement for the ages.
By taking a quick glimpse at Brett Favre's game to game record, Favre has showed up to work and started in a total of 289 games consecutively, a feat that is often overshadowed by his further accomplishments in the NFL.
Yet as exciting as this record is for fans that have witnessed every moment of Favre's Packers, Jets and Vikings career, a time has now come that most of us thought would be light years away—Brett Favre may not start this weekend at all.
