Report: Miami Dolphins’ Jared Odrick Re-Injured Likely To Miss Season

According to a tweet from Jason LaCanfora of the NFL Network, Miami Dolphins first round draft pick Jared Odrick was hurt again in practice today, after missing more than a month with a hairline fracture in his leg.
LaCanfora states that the Dolphins will likely put Odrick on injured reserve.
If so, Odrick will be the second Miami Dolphin draft pick from 2010 to end up on injured reserve. Linebacker A.J. Edds tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his knee early in training camp.
Odrick was drafted by the Dolphins with the 28th pick overall and his arrival was significant in allowing defensive end Randy Starks move to nose tackle.
Without Odrick in the line-up, the Dolphins will likely leave Starks at his natural defensive end position and trust Paul Soliai with an increased number of snaps. Reserve defensive end, Tony McDaniel, will also be counted on heavily.
