Roddy White and John Abraham Held Out of Atlanta Falcons’ Wednesday Practice

For the second straight week, Atlanta Falcons defensive end John Abraham and wide receiver Roddy White did not participate in Wednesday’s practice.
Running back Jason Snelling was also out of action.
Moving forward, this could become a trend.
Abraham, who has been nursing a groin injury, is in his 11th season and is 32 years old. In addition to monitoring his groin, expect the Falcons to continue to limit their defensive leader to protect him from the wear and tear of a long NFL season.
White, on the other hand, injured his knee in Week 9 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. His performance since the injury, however, would not suggest he’s feeling any lingering effects.
In Week 10 against the Baltimore Ravens, his first game after the injury, White caught 12 balls for 138 yards and two touchdowns, including the game-winner late in the fourth quarter. He has caught 26 balls for 270 yards in three games since the injury.
