Roddy White Injury: Updates on Falcons Star’s Elbow and Return

Atlanta Falcons Pro Bowl wide receiver Roddy White has been remarkably durable throughout his NFL career, but he suffered a minor elbow injury prior to the regular season.

White Nursing Elbow Injury Friday, August 21 The Falcons announced White sustained an elbow injury, despite previous reports that it was a shoulder injury.
The 33-year-old will sit out Friday's preseason game against the New York Jets, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution's D. Orlando Ledbetter, but ESPN.com's Vaughn McClure noted White's injury is "not a major concern."
White, who hadn't missed a regular-season game until 2013, is part of a wide receiver duo with Julio Jones that is among the best in the NFL.
When those two are on the field with Matt Ryan throwing the ball, Atlanta has a chance to compete no matter how absent or underwhelming its running game and defense are.
