Roddy White: Latest News, Rumors, Speculation Surrounding Free-Agent WR

Atlanta Falcons veteran wide receiver Roddy White remains a free agent, though he confirmed to Jeff Schultz of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that he's had plenty of interest in his services.

White Will Only Sign with a Super Bowl Contender Thursday, June 9 “When my agent and I went down the list and I saw the teams that really needed wide receivers, I was like, ‘Wow, I really don’t want to go there,'" White told Schultz. "I knew I couldn’t win with any of those teams. At this point of my career, I don’t want to be dragging my feet in Week 13 just to have an opportunity to be 4-10 next week.”
White acknowledged to Schultz that if he couldn't sign with a team he deems to be a legitimate contender—a list of about six teams, according to White—he would happily retire:
