Rueben Randle, Chris Givens Cut by Eagles: Latest Details, Comments and Reaction

A pair of notable wide receivers were involved in the Philadelphia Eagles' first round of cuts Sunday.
According to Gregg Rosenthal of NFL.com, Philadelphia released both Rueben Randle and Chris Givens as the team moved from 90 players to 75 after its third preseason game.
Les Bowen of the Philadelphia Daily News provided his thoughts on the moves:
Neither player had established himself during the preseason. Givens had one catch for 19 yards in Saturday's win over the Indianapolis Colts, while Randle had two catches for 10 yards.
Even with their mediocre play, it's still surprising that both are gone this early in the process.
Both receivers signed as free agents during the offseason. Givens started for the Baltimore Ravens last year, totaling 346 yards on 19 receptions in 12 games (six starts). His best year was his first with the Rams, when he finished with 42 catches for 698 yards and three touchdowns in 2012.
