Ruston Webster: Latest News, Rumors, Speculation on Titans GM’s Future

Tennessee Titans general manager Ruston Webster is on the hot seat with the organization, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com.

Titans Could Replace Webster After Consecutive Disappointing Seasons Sunday, Dec. 13 A high-ranking source within the Titans organization told Rapoport, "When you've won five games in the last two years, no one is safe. That includes Ruston Webster."
Webster, 53, has spent four seasons serving as the team's general manager. This past offseason was his most successful, as he added franchise quarterback Marcus Mariota and promising wide receiver Dorial Green-Beckham through the draft and signed productive defensive veterans Brian Orakpo and Perrish Cox among others.
However, as Paul Kuharsky of ESPN noted, "Webster’s overall personnel record isn’t good enough," and, "He needs to do far better in the draft, particularly in the second and third rounds."
