Safety Shiloh Keo put himself on the Denver Broncos' radar, and now he can say it was a good move because he once again has a spot on an NFL roster.
Last week, Keo noticed Denver overlooked him when it signed Josh Bush. He found that a bit hard to swallow, as he had history with Broncos defensive coordinator Wade Phillips, who was Keo's defensive coordinator during his days with the Houston Texans.
After seeing the Bush signing, Keo used Twitter to let his former coach know he was available:
That led to some back-and-forth that ultimately had Keo asking Phillips to keep him in mind should a roster spot open up:
Lo and behold, the Broncos had an open roster spot after waiving quarterback Christian Ponder on Tuesday. Whom did the team fill the opening with? Keo.
As NFL Network's Ian Rapoport tweeted, Keo provides us with a great life lesson:
The power of social media never ceases to amaze.
