San Francisco 49ers 2nd Round Pick

With their third pick in the 2010 NFL Draft... the 49ers select Chris Cook, Corner Back, Virginia.
At 6'2", 212 lbs., Chris Cook is the exact kind of player the San Francisco 49ers would like to match up with the bigger receivers in the NFC West like Larry Fitzgerald and T.J. Houshmandzadeh.
Ranked 55th overall by scout.com, a five star (out of five) prospect, Chris Cook could very well be around when the Niners pick 49th overall in the second round.
Chris Cook picked off a ball in Senior Ball practice and you can watch his combine workout here:  http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-combine/09000d5d816dca51/2010-Combine-workout-Chris-Cook
He's not as fluid as an Eric Berry in these drills, he's a freak of an athlete for his position though and can be a hard hitting CB in the league for many years.
Check out the size of his hands too, and the way he catches the ball away from his body.  He's going to hold onto any ball that comes his way.
