Seattle Seahawks In October: What’s In Store For The Next Four Weeks

Although it might be difficult for the Seattle fan base to be happy with the Seahawks right now, especially after the disheartening 20-3 loss at the hands of the St. Louis Rams, the month of October should be a good month for the team.
With a bye week, and then games against three questionable teams, by the end of October we could be looking at a 5-2 Seahawks team.
If this team is going to compete for a playoff spot, the next four weeks are going to be essential games. We need victories now. This is the easiest portion of the schedule and after this it will only get harder.
Let’s look at October game-by-game.
October 8th: Bye week
The bye week comes at a very good time for the Seahawks. Not only does it give this team a change to regroup after dropping a crucial division game against the Rams, but it also gives the coaching staff time to integrate RB Marshawn Lynch into the game plan.
