Sergio Kindle of Baltimore Ravens Hopeful That He Will Play This Season

Sergio Kindle, the Baltimore Ravens' top draft pick in the 2010 NFL entry draft, is optimistic that he will play for the team during the 2010 season.
Kindle was selected by Baltimore in the second round of the 2010 draft. While playing his college football for the University of Texas, Kindle was a finalist for both the Butkus Award, given to the top collegiate linebacker, and the Ted Hendricks Award, presented to the top collegiate defensive end.
During the offseason, Kindle fell down two flights of stairs while visiting a home he was unfamiliar with. He stated, "I made a wrong turn, it wasn’t my house. It was my first time being there. The whole thing is I should have turned the lights on.”
The fall left Kindle with a fractured skull. He missed the entire preseason while he rehabilitated from his injury.
