Sharrif Floyd Injury: Updates on Vikings DT’s Recovery from Knee Surgery

Minnesota Vikings defensive tackle Sharrif Floyd is once again on the sidelines, this time with a knee injury.

Latest on Floyd's Playing Status Saturday, Oct. 29 The Vikings' official injury report has listed Floyd as out for Monday's Week 8 divisional clash with the Chicago Bears, as his knee continues to give him trouble.
Floyd has not appeared in a game since Week 1 after undergoing arthroscopic surgery on his right knee. He also missed three games with a knee injury in 2015 and sat out two games in 2014.
When healthy, the defensive tackle is an impact player in the middle of the field. The former first-round pick started 23 games over the last two seasons and makes a difference against both the run and the pass.
Staying on the field has remained a problem for the 25-year-old defensive lineman, although the Vikings haven't missed him too much after a 5-1 start.
