St. Louis Rams Hold Fan Fest Scrimmage at the Edward Jones Dome

The St. Louis Rams held their annual intra-squad scrimmage for the first time at the Edward Jones Dome on Saturday.
Billed as Fan Fest, the Rams practiced for about two hours and 15 minutes, with several live 11-on-11 periods and a rookie period following the regular practice.
The event brought in about 13,000 fans, who witnessed a defensively-dominated practice. The quarterbacks again had difficulty throwing the long ball, but were picked off just once. That interception was by rookie cornerback Trumaine Johnson. Safety Quintin Mikell had a sure interception go right through his arms.
Two wide receivers who did look very good were Brandon Gibson and Danny Amendola. Undrafted rookie Matthew Conrath also looked good and got some reps with the starting defense. The 6'7", 261-pound tackle has "some potential" and is a strong player, coach Jeff Fisher said following the practice.
