It is must-win time for the New York Giants. 
After blowing an opportunity to take a two-game lead in the NFC East last week when they dropped a 20-14 decision on the road against the Washington Redskins, the Giants find themselves with a 5-6 record. The Redskins technically have the lead in the standings because they have a better divisional record than the Giants.
New York played a disinterested game well into the third quarter before mounting a rally that got them within six points. However, coming close is not what head coach Tom Coughlin was looking for, and he blistered his team after the game.
The Giants and quarterback Eli Manning have another chance this week when they meet the Jets in the battle for MetLife Stadium. This is not going to be an easy game for the Giants, because the Jets have a winning record, and they will be fighting for a playoff spot themselves.
