Steelers Vs. Packers: Aaron Rodgers Sore Shoulder a Concern For Packers Nation?
Quarterback Aaron Rodgers took some shots in the Packers win over Chicago on Sunday afternoon.
Green Bay Packers head coach Mike McCarthy caught some media attention on Monday when he announced that his star quarterback's shoulder was sore after he was hit in the game. According to Associated Press reports, McCarthy did not seem overly concerned about Rodger's injury, saying that every player is a little banged up at this point in the season.
Rodgers did take a noticeable shot from Chicago defensive lineman Julius Peppers late in the game. Peppers was penalized for a helmet-to-helmet hit, but Rodgers appeared to shake it off as he got up and continued to play and close out the game.
Keep in mind that Rodgers has already suffered multiple concussions this year and has been monitored very closely throughout the season by the Packers' medical staff.
