Stephen Paea Bench Press Video: Watch NFL Prospect Bust the Bench Press Record

Want a way to skyrocket up a draft board?
Try setting the bench press record.
Defensive tackle Stephen Paea of Oregon State was able to bench 225 pounds a whopping 49 times at Monday's Combine workout.
That means in the span of a minute, Paea lifted 11,025 pounds.
Wow.
It's pretty incredible how easy the first 43 reps were. No hesitation whatsoever as Paea made it look way too easy.
After 43 reps, he began to slow down a bit. He got in two more before taking an extra long breath.
At 45 reps, with all of his peers watching him and a spotter breathing down his face, Paea was able to put up another four reps for a total of 49.
It's an incredible feat that breaks the combine record of 45 set by Mitch Petrus last year. As the NFL network cut back to Rich Eisen, he could only laugh at the ridiculous strength on display.
