Stevan Ridley Injury: Updates on Jets RB’s Recovery from Knee Surgery

New York Jets running back Stevan Ridley has been on the shelf throughout training camp and the preseason, and current indications are that the fifth-year veteran will miss the start of the regular season.

Report: Ridley Expected to Be Placed on PUP List Tuesday, Sept. 1 Eleven months after undergoing surgery to repair a torn ACL and MCL, Ridley still isn't quite ready to return to game action with his new team.
According to Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News, the former LSU standout figures to begin the regular season on the physically unable to perform list, which means he will miss at least the first six games.
Gang Green will have a five-week window to make a decision on Ridley once the initial six weeks are up, but head coach Todd Bowles seems content to take his time with the former third-round pick, per Mehta:
