Super Bowl 2011: The Packers Could Be the Most Unlikely of Super Bowl Winners
Super Bowl 2011: The Green Bay Packers are two and a half point favorites in next week's Super Bowl. That is quite a feat for a team that nobody saw coming this far.
Yet here they are. The team that was never in the top slot in regular season power rankings is but one game away from clinching the title for Green Bay.
Theirs was a difficult road. They had to win their final game just to make it into the post season. What made that even trickier was that they played a Chicago Bears team that was to start all of their starting players.
The Packers side stepped that land mine. They then had to play three away games against the Eagles, Falcons and Bears to arrive in Dallas. That was by far the most difficult scenario of any playoff team. They passed.
Now they face a tough lock-down defense in the Steelers. It will be a tall mountain to climb, but then it just wouldn't be a fitting end to ...
