Super Bowl 2011: This Could Be a Good Year for Commercials
Super Bowl 2011: Every year there are two camps at every Super Bowl party. There are those that are there for the game. These are the sports nuts that actually want to listen to the game and have no qualms about shushing a loquacious talker during the event.
Then there are the Super Bowl commercial freaks. This is roughly everyone including those that want to see the game. They just down play their excitement.
You can bet that a good portion of the evening's events will be reserved for critiquing each and every ad. Well there will be a shift towards classic commercials this year.
Digital News Report is reporting that the cost for a 30 second spot during Super Bowl XLV will reach the $2.9 million mark.
The report also states that car companies will be making a huge comeback. BMW will make their first Super Bowl ad appearance in 10 years. Chevy will also return with a spot of their own.
