Super Bowl Predictions: Packers vs. Patriots
If my crystal ball hold true, the Green Bay Packers will face the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XLV.
I'm hoping these two meet because it will be a great matchup if they do.
In the last six weeks of the regular season, the Packers were the only team to come within 21 points of the Patriots.
In fact, they only lost 31-27 with their backup quarterback, Matt Flynn, filling in for Aaron Rodgers (concussion).
With Rodgers playing at the elite level he has been, this would be a great matchup.
But the Packers still need to play great defense in order to limit the Patriots. I don't see them winning a shootout. Before it was possible with a shaky Patriots defense, it isn't anymore.
But, again, I don't see anyone beating the Patriots this year, even the Packers.
But it will be close.
Prediction: Patriots 24, Packers 21
