Takeaways from Andy Dalton and the Bengals’ Explosive Week 14 Performance

With their 42-28 victory over the Indianapolis Colts, the Cincinnati Bengals took a big step towards landing at least the AFC’s third seed. The game also marked the third time this year the Bengals topped 40 points, a figure they hadn’t even touched in the previous three seasons.
In winning this contest, the Bengals helped themselves immensely in their quest for the AFC North. Had they lost, they’d be just a game up on the Baltimore Ravens with a contest against their purple-clad foes looming in Week 17.
Instead, the Bengals now have a two-game advantage in the division with just three games left to play. Barring an epic collapse, they should secure their first division title since 2009.
