Tampa Bay Buccaneers Reach Out To Minnesota Vikings D-Line Coach Karl Dunbar

With defensive line coach Todd Wash’s contract expiring, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have offered the position to the Minnesota Vikings’ Karl Dunbar, according to the Minneapolis Star-Tribune.
Dunbar is left over from the Brad Childress administration and has been with the Vikings since 2006. Despite a down year in 2010, the defensive line was rarely an issue for the Vikings under Dunbar.
The Buccaneers look to bolster a run defense that ranked next to last in 2010.
Dunbar worked with defensive end Jared Allen in Minnesota. Since joining the Vikings in 2008, Allen has registered 40 sacks in three seasons under Dunbar.
Meanwhile, the Buccaneers only managed 26 sacks in 2010 as a team.
