The Tampa Bay Buccaneers head to Oakland to take on the Raiders—another young team that took a new direction in 2012.
The Buccaneers (3-4) have many of the same characters that one might remember from years past, but this team has taken on a transformation both in terms of personnel and leadership. Many considered the Bucs the offseason "winner" after bringing in Vincent Jackson and Carl Nicks. Greg Schiano came up to the pros from Rutgers to help instill some discipline that was sorely lacking. Overall, Tampa Bay looks headed in the right direction, but is 2012 too soon to be looking for results?
The Raiders (3-4) have a brand new general manager and head coach as they move on in the post-Al Davis era. Both Reggie McKenzie and Dennis Allen seem capable, but how much time will they need to put their mark on the team? Darren McFadden has been, mostly, a disappointment this year in the zone-blocking scheme, but the Raiders defense looks good under Allen.
