Pete Carroll Would Like to Bring Jackson Back Monday, March 28 Jackson has played with Seattle since 2012, backing up starter Russell Wilson since 2013. He remains unsigned, but according to Bob Condotta of the Seattle Times, Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll would like him to be back on the sidelines again next season.
“We really liked his contributions and he’s been a big factor for us, and we would like to have him back if we could,’’ Carroll said.
Jackson has a few things in his favor, including the fact that he started 14 games for the team four years ago. Seattle is only carrying two quarterbacks, Wilson and Phillip Sims—who wasn't on an NFL roster a year ago—and the list of available free-agent quarterbacks doesn't resemble a Pro Bowl roster, ...
