Tennessee Titans: Looking For an AFC Playoff Spot Following Bye Week

The Tennessee Titans come into their bye week this year with a 5-3 record, considerably better than their 0-6 record at the bye last year.
After an 0-6 start heading into the bye week, Chris Johnson said the team would win its last 10 games and make the playoffs. The Titans almost made good on his prediction by wining five in a row and 8-of-10 to finish the season, just missing the playoffs.
This Titans have started 5-3 thanks to an explosive offense that scores more points than any Titans team in recent memory and a rock-solid red-zone defense that sacks the quarterback almost at will.
The offense is taking pressure off the defense, and at the same time the defense is helping the offense by creating turnovers and holding opponents to field goals.
This is all going on while the special teams is doing everything it could be asked to do. The Titans are simply playing winning football.
