Terrell Owens Agrees To Contract With Cincinnati Bengals

July 27, 2010   ·     ·   Jump to comments

According to ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter, controversial wide receiver Terrell Owens has agreed to a one-year, two million dollar contract with the Cincinnati Bengals in addition to a possible two-million dollars in incentives.
This agreement has the potential to create one of the top wide receiver duos in the NFL, as Owens will likely be the number two receiver behind the, let's just say entertaining, Chad Ochocinco.
The Bengals definitely took a risk with the signing of Owens, but Terrell could pay huge dividends this season as long as head coach Marvin Lewis and the rest of the Cincinnati Bengals staff can find a way to contain two of the biggest egos in the game in Owens and Ochocinco.
So to all Bengals fans out there, this was a risk/reward move made by your franchise today, but this acquisition could help the Bengals make a deep run in the playoffs this upcoming season.
