Terrell Owens Had Agent Reach Out to Dallas Cowboys After Dez Bryant’s Injury

Wide receiver Terrell Owens hasn't played a regular-season snap in the NFL since 2010, but the 41-year-old future Hall of Famer apparently isn't ready to close the door on his playing career quite yet.
As seen in this interview with NFL Network's Rich Eisen on The Rich Eisen Show, Owens revealed he had his agent reach out to the Dallas Cowboys about a return to the team after superstar pass-catcher Dez Bryant broke his foot last week:
While Owens' three-year tenure in Dallas was productive, as he topped 1,000 receiving yards in each season from 2006 to 2008 and caught a total of 38 touchdown passes, he rubbed many people the wrong way. That included squabbles with quarterback Tony Romo, tight end Jason Witten and then-offensive coordinator and current head coach Jason Garrett.
Even so, Owens believes he could be helpful to the Cowboys if everyone involved is willing to forget the past, as he told Eisen (h/t Bob Hille of Sporting News):
