Tevin Coleman Injury: Updates on Falcons RB’s Possible Concussion and Return

A once-promising season for the Atlanta Falcons continues to spiral downward, as rookie running back Tevin Coleman has entered the NFL's concussion protocol.

Coleman's Status for Week 16 Up in Air Thursday, Dec. 24 D. Orlando Ledbetter of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution provided details of Coleman's injury:
A third-round draft pick, Coleman got his career started on a high note with 80 yards on 20 carries in a Week 1 win against the Philadelphia Eagles. He suffered a fractured rib the following week against the New York Giants, causing him to miss two games.
Devonta Freeman became a breakout star for the Falcons in Coleman's absence, scoring six rushing touchdowns in the two games Coleman missed. 
Coleman was able to take center stage in Week 12 against the Minnesota Vikings when Freeman sat out with a concussion. The Indiana product responded with his first career 100-yard rushing game in a 20-10 loss.&nbs...
