The 2010 NFL Draft: How It Should Turn Out

I read mock drafts just like everybody else... And they all usually turn out the same. Too many are "all business", which ignores the point of creating a mock draft. I wanted to have fun doing this, so there are a few trades that probably don't make sense and a couple picks that you go, "huh?" on... If so, I accomplished my goal. I also wanted to inject a tad humor in where appropriate. It isn't around every corner, so there is more value for the few jokes I slipped in.

1. St. Louis Rams: Sam Bradford , QB, Oklahoma
I don't see much debate here. The closer and closer we get to the draft, the more obvious it is that Bradford will be taken No. 1 overall. $50,000,000 guaranteed? That is one big ass check.

2. Detroit Lions: Russell Okung, OT, Oklahoma State
I want the Lions to get better... And even though Suh will more than likely be a monster at the next level... This is the smart pick for the Lion...
