The Brett Favre Saga: Is He Worth The Wait for the Minnesota Vikings?

Let me just start off by saying I know there is a Brett Favre nation out there, so I am not here to Brett bash.
No doubt he has stamped his name forever on the game of football. He will go to the Hall of Fame, and be remembered for his toughness and perserverance throughout his career.
Most career passing touchdowns, most career passing yards, most career completions, most career starts by a player at any position, and the list goes on.
I will never take away from him what he has done for the NFL and its fans. No one can.
But, like all good things do, they must come to an end.
I know it is one of the hardest things to do. Walking away from a sport you have played your entire life, what you love to do, is very hard.
But, I think it's time Brett Favre realizes that he can still play the game with the best, and throw in the towel.
There is no shame in retiring after all that he has accomplished.
There is nothing more to prove.
