The Detroit Lions’ Potential Pro Bowlers

If I were to ask you this question, who was the last Detroit Lion to make the NFL Pro Bowl? who would be your first guess?
The answer is wide receiver Roy E. Williams. Williams was named an alternate in the 2007 NFL Pro Bowl, when St. Louis Rams receiver Torry Holt was unable to play due to injuries. Not to take away from his accomplishment, but Williams was an alternate, not the first selection by fans.
Shaun Rogers was the last Lion to go to the Pro Bowl, not as an alternate, in 2006.
With no representatives in 2008 or 2009, can the Lions end their two-year dry spell in 2010? I believe they can, and I believe they will.
I think the Lions have three players who, if healthy, each have a legitimate chance at making the 2010 Pro Bowl squad.
In fact, I'll take it a step further. The Detroit Lions have three players who should be Pro Bowlers in 2010, and at least three other players who have a chance.
