What the eyes see and the ears hear, the mind believes. Right?
But do we ever stop to ask ourselves where this information is stemming from?
Yes, at times we may see coaches who belong to the Eagles organization make negative and positive comments in magazines, live conferences, and private interviews.
Does this give us the right to scrutinize them for what they say?
Or better yet, does it give us the right to scrutinize the play calls that are made on the field. Do they only come from the football staff, or is the head office in on it as well? Is it only on Andy Reid when a red flag isn't thrown (Chicago vs Philadelphia Monday Nighter 2008, Buckhalter on the one. Remember that!)?
When a trade occurs, why do we blame Andy Reid? When we are unsuccessful in signing a free agent, why do we accuse him?
When we lose in the playoffs, we blame the coaches and Donovan. Why? It is horrible to do that.
