The NFL’s Iron Men: Top 10 Active Players

This is a list of current NFL players who rank as the top 10 Iron men of the NFL. It is an amazing to make an NFL squad at the age of 22 , but a handful of players played well into their mid thirties and even a few into their forties. George Blanda was the oldest man to ever play in the NFL recording game action at 28 years of age. More currently , Morten Anderson retired in 2007 at 47 years of age, and John Carney was the oldest to play in the 2009 season at 45, and Matt Stover recently became the oldest player in a superbowl. This list was incredibly hard to come up with. If it were based on age alone, it would have been a very easy article. I based the top 10 on the following criteria: Age: must be atleast 33 years old Games played: Must have atleast 180 position. obviously a kickers longevity is less tested than a Free Safety Career accomplishments: Nobody resting in the shadows And as to why theyre still significant: What they have done lately Honorable mentions: Joey ...
