The San Diego Chargers Are Sinking Their Own Playoff Hopes.

Piece by piece, the Chargers organization is putting itself further out of contention for anything. It is blowing holes in its football team on both sides of the ball.
I'm sure the Jets are laughing as if they spent a night at the Improv after leaving the bargaining table with San Diego as they leave with Antonio Cromartie, a former Pro Bowl cornerback and 1st round pick.
The Chargers get "NADA"!!
They don't get an established player, or anyone who could help them or understand their defensive scheme. Nope, not even a first round or second round pick, its a third rounder.
But, not until the year 2011.
Who is doing trade negotiations for the Chargers, Pee Wee Herman? Why do we always lose at the bargaining table?
This year's draft is perhaps the richest in running back talent in over a decade. The Chargers could have developed starters to fill their running back needs in first, second, third, and even fourth round picks.
So what's their response? ...
