The Secret Is Out: Troy Smith Reportedly Set to Be 49ers Quarterback in Week 16

Despite head coach Mike Singletary trying to keep it a secret until Sunday, word has reportedly gotten out that Troy Smith will replace Alex Smith as the team's starting quarterback in Week 16.
NFL Network's Jason La Canfora reported via Twitter that the San Francisco 49ers have decided to go back to "the other Smith" (Troy) as the team prepares to face the St. Louis Rams on the road.
Troy Smith had his best game as a pro in a victory at home over the Rams in Week 10, where he threw for over 350 passing yards. 
Despite a great game in his return to action against Seattle in Week 14, where he threw three touchdowns and no interceptions in a win, Alex Smith will be benched in favor of Troy Smith after being unable to generate any offense in a loss to the San Diego Chargers in Week 15.
