Third Time a Ring for Laveranues Coles?

While Mike Tannenbaum runs out of reasons to rationalize the Darrelle Revis holdout, the one silver lining in this training camp is the possibility of savvy veteran Laveranues Coles back with the Jets for a third time. 
The Jets fourth leading receiver lifetime with 459 receptions in 103 games,  5,941 yards and 37 touchdowns, Coles has been New York's top wideout four times with three different quarterbacks in Vinny Testaverde, Chad Pennington, and Brooks Bollinger.
With three, 1,000 yard plus seasons under his belt, Coles is competing for a roster spot in a receiving corps that will feature Braylon Edwards, Santonio Holmes, and Jericho Cotchery.
A sometimes kick-off returner who grabbed 43 catches in Cincinnati last year for 514 yards and five touchdowns, Coles now has 674 receptions that leaves him 12th among active players in his ten years with New York, Washington and the Bengals.
