Thomas Davis Shares Picture of Arm, Comments on Super Bowl 50 Loss

After he suffered a broken forearm in the NFC Championship Game, team trainers didn't think Carolina Panthers linebacker Thomas Davis would be able to play in Super Bowl 50, according to NFL.com's Ian Rapoport. But the defensive playmaker defied the odds and suited up for his team Sunday.
Although the Panthers came up short, losing 24-10 to the Denver Broncos, Davis recorded seven tackles while playing with a cast on his right arm. After the game, Davis shared this message on Instagram along with an image of his surgically repaired forearm:
Despite suffering the injury two weeks ago, he promised to play in the Super Bowl.
"I got two weeks to heal up, and I'm going to use every minute of that," Davis said following the NFC Championship Game, per Max Henson of Panthers.com. "Come on, you know me, right? I ain't missing the Super Bowl, you better believe that."
