Thursday night Football: Miami is too slow on offense to keep up.

One more quick observation and perhaps the most important one of the night.
If Miami wants to ever become an elite football team again, they must improve team speed especially on offense
You don't need to look any further than their running game.
The linemen are big, but they aren't particularly physical, especially when decimated by injury. But far more importantly, they are SLOW. Miami doesn't have one linemen with the speed to pull effectively.
Then, there is Miami's running backs. Again, you can argue that Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams are big and physical, but you can't argue that they are explosive which becomes a huge problem when your linemen aren't creating huge holes.
Of course, a receiver who can stretch the field deep would eliminate additional run defenders in the box. Brandon Marshall may be a great receiver, but a deep threat he is not.
