Tim Tebow: Denver Broncos’ Problem with Taking Him in the First Round

Sure, starting quarterback Kyle Orton failed to receive a long-term commitment from the Denver Broncos.
He struggled down the stretch and battled an injury despite passing for 3,800 yards. 
As a result, he and the Broncos agreed upon a $2.621 million tender as a restricted free agent. He was able to attend the entirety of the team's offseason program.
A few months ago, the Broncos traded Peyton Hillis, a sixth-round pick in the 2011 NFL Draft, and a conditional late-round pick in the 2012 NFL Draft to the Cleveland Browns for Brady Quinn.
The former Notre Dame star desperately needed a change of scenery, he and will look to battle for playing time in his fourth season. 
At this point, he remains second on the depth chart. 
Then comes Tim Tebow.
Taken as the 25th pick in the NFL Draft, earlier than many predicted, he will more than likely start the season as the third-string quarterback.
