Tim Tebow: Hope Returns To the Denver Broncos and Their Fans

Even if Tim Tebow can’t carry the Denver Broncos to victory Sunday over the San Diego Chargers in the season finale, he has given all of Broncos Country one thing as a new year beckons:
Hope. Unyielding hope.
That may not sound like much to fans of other teams, but after what the normally fiercely loyal Broncos fans have been through the past two (and if you include the epic Shanahan collapse of 2008, three) seasons, you might as well have just handed them the Lombardi Trophy.
Think about all the Broncos faithful have been through the last two seasons.  After blowing a three game lead in the AFC West in 2008, owner Pat Bowlen decided to clean house and fire Shanahan after he delivered the team’s only Super Bowl titles.    Out was the established hand and in was a 32 year old hotshot from the three time Super Bowl champion New England Patriots, offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels.
McDaniels almost immediately began taking trade offers...
