Tim Tebow: Rookie Quarterback Bags First Career Touchdown

Ballyhooed rookie quarterback Tim Tebow bagged his first career touchdown Sunday against the Jets. The Broncos' signal caller scampered into the end zone from five yards out, to tie the game at 7-7 in the first half of Denver's 24-20 loss.
The score has prompted pundits across the country to proclaim that Kyle Orton's time in Denver is drawing to an end, neglecting to notice that the veteran threw for 209 yards and a touchdown on a day when neither quarterback was terribly accurate.
While this shows Tebow's role is growing, let's not get too hasty heralding the end of the Kyle Orton Era in Denver. He's still been fantastic this season, and the Broncos would be foolish to throw a rookie like Tebow into the fire before he's ready to go.
