Time for the New York Giants to Reach out to Jermichael Finley

Over the next few weeks, you're going to hear a lot about potential starting tight ends already on the New York Giants roster, and a lot of the talk is going to be good. That's because when you've got Adrien Robinson's freakish athletic ability, it's easy to shine in organized team activities. And I'll admit that there's a lot to like about under-the-radar third-year man Larry Donnell. 
But the Giants would still be silly to enter the 2014 season without a proven commodity at the tight end position. 
Yes, Kellen Davis and Daniel Fells are veterans with a combined 69 starts under their belts, but both have become journeymen and blocking specialists at this point in their careers. If the Giants are serious about moving into the 21st century on offense, they need more than that at a position that is gaining importance with each passing year.
