Titans GM Search: Latest News, Rumors and Speculation Surrounding Position

With the No. 1 overall pick in the 2016 NFL draft in their back pocket, the Tennessee Titans have begun their search for a new general manager to lead them on their potential return to prominence.

Titans Preparing to Interview GM Candidates Tuesday, Jan. 5 Team president Steve Underwood announced Monday the organization is considering 14 candidates for the vacant position.
New York Giants college scouting director Marc Ross is reportedly among those vying for the job, according to CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora. Per NFL Network's Albert Breer, the Titans are also hoping to interview Baltimore Ravens assistant GM Eric DeCosta.
Per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Ross' interview is expected to take place within the "next day or so."
Rapoport added that Jimmy Raye III, the Indianapolis Colts' vice president of football operations, is also a target for the Titans, and the "hope is to bring him in for an interview."
