Tom Brady Tops NFL’s Jersey Sales After Week 2 of Regular Season

While the Deflategate controversy may have hurt New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady's credibility in the eyes of some fans, it hasn't stopped plenty of others from showing their support for the future Hall of Famer through the purchase of his No. 12 jersey.  
According to ESPN.com's Darren Rovell, the NFL revealed Thursday the 38-year-old signal-caller's jersey is the top seller on the league's website through the first two weeks of the regular season.
Art Stapleton of The Record provided a look at the top five, which also includes Brady's Patriots teammate, tight end Rob Gronkowski:
Not only did Brady beat a four-game suspension in court, but he is likely the leading MVP candidate through Week 2 with 754 yards, seven touchdowns, no interceptions and a pair of victories.
Brady and the Pats seem to be taking their frustration out on the NFL for the manner in which the Deflategate situation was handled, and Brady's fans are loving it.
