Tony Romo Promises Super Bowl Win in 2016 for Dallas Cowboys

Tony Romo stepped onstage Thursday at the Nancy Lieberman Foundation Gala and acknowledged two things.
The first was that his life is coming to a close, as evidenced by the lifetime achievement award Romo held in his hand. Secondly, he addressed the little thing in the back of every Dallas Cowboys fan’s mind at every waking minute: the elusive Super Bowl victory he’s yet to even smell.
Jared Dubin of CBS Sports (h/t BlackSportsOnline.com's Robert Littal) spotted footage of Romo’s remarks.
The quarterback quickly tossed in a promise as he closed his speech. He thanked the academy—er, foundation—for the honor and left the audience with something a little less bland than “Go Cowboys!”
