Trent Cole Ready for a Big 2010 Season with the Philadelphia Eagles

The Eagles have an absolute gem in defensive end Trent Cole. What they didn’t have for some time was a consistent player to complement Cole on the other side. Finding that was one of the main priorities for the Eagles this off-season, and they’ve brought in plenty of possible suitors.
Part of the reason the Eagles wanted to bring in someone to complement Cole was to alleviate some of the pressure on him. He’s a great player, and with, another talented rusher opposite him, should be even better.
Cole is Pro Bowl-talented and has already had two seasons in which he’s recorded 12.5 sacks. However, I don’t think he’s considered to be in that dominate pass rusher category with guys like Jared Allen or Julius Peppers.
In 2010, I think he can take his game to a whole new level. Cole is in the prime of his career (turning 28 during the season) and should be a menace rushing the quarterback since he’ll be getting some solid contribu...
